However, they do present barriers, such as:<sup>4<\/sup><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High cost<\/li>\n<li>Time commitment<\/li>\n<li>Low acceptance rates<\/li>\n<li>The entrance exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-much-do-mba-programs-cost\">How much do MBA programs cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost of an MBA can vary significantly \u2013 depending on whether it\u2019s full-time, part-time, or with a public or private school. Fortunately, top universities have begun to cater to the need for MBA alternatives for full-time working professionals through online short courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-many-people-get-accepted-to-mba-programs\">How many people get accepted to MBA programs?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Owing to the limited number of spots available for MBA programs, the number of applications is always high, and the competition is intense. Nonetheless, according to the U.S. News, 69 percent of full-time MBA programs within the U.S. received more applications in the autumn of 2020, compared to the same period in 2019. Despite your interest in an MBA, you\u2019re not guaranteed a spot \u2013 the acceptance rate for the 10 most selective full-time MBA programs is only 19 percent.<sup>6<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Such low acceptance rates mean prospective MBA students need to be top performers.
