By using employee surveys with the aim to determine engagement and satisfaction, the Talent Department is able to make crucial decisions for the future. \u201cBy gathering open, unadulterated feedback and then leaning into what the data tells us, we\u2019re able to have a sense of what works and what doesn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div>\n            <!-- Responsive picture tag -->\n        <picture class=\"picture-block\">\n            <source media=\"(min-width: 768px)\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.getsmarter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/GSN-WK16_Pullquote_desktop_970x300px_17_04_2018_01-1.png\" >\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.getsmarter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/GSN-WK16_pullquote_mobile_400x400px_17_04_2018_01-1.png\" alt=\"\">\n        <\/picture>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-future-of-work\"><strong>The Future of Work<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a study performed on the future of productivity, \u201cIn three years, you\u2019ll have to relearn 35% of your job.\u201d<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oecd.org\/eco\/growth\/Skill-mismatch-and-public-policy-in-OECD-countries.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;By this stage, it should be of no surprise to the workforce that rapid technological advancements constantly change the way in which we operate at our organisations. The ability to adapt and remain agile is a challenge all millenials and Gen Z\u2019s will have to embrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sohana agrees with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.getsmarter.com\/blog\/future-work-career-predictions-need-pay-attention\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">workplace prediction<\/a>, stating that with every day that goes by, the tried and tested ways of operating as an HR Manager are either obsolete, not as effective or need slight improvement. The \u201crobots are coming for your jobs\u201d narrative is not 100% true as it is dramatic.
