The Certificate Administrator's main responsibilities will be to administratively manage the certificate process for several courses and provide certificate-related student support.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate and manage courses during the certificate process to ensure that students receive certificates within the designated timeline.
  • Assume responsibility for own productivity to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Process returned and re-issued certificates to ensure that students benefit from a continuous professional service.
  • Schedule and complete necessary tasks relevant to the certificate process within the correct timelines.
  • Administratively prepare certificates in line with the prescribed certification experience, to be issued to students who qualify to receive them.
  • Quality check physical certificates received from the university and create and maintain associated records in the Certification Database.
  • Assist with student certificate queries, timeously, to ensure that the students are supported and informed.
  • Assist with resolving student complaints and conflicts so that students are satisfied with the product.
  • Support the Certificates Controller in managing certificate exceptions.
  • Other Ad-Hoc duties as required.
  • Maintain  the certification filing and storing system.
