As a Project Coordinator at GetSmarter, a brand of 2U Inc., you will be primarily responsible for supporting our team of Project Managers with their portfolio of international projects. You may also lead local projects of your own under the guidance of a Project Manager.
You will work closely with team members from almost every division within the organisation including members from our Finance team, Education Operations unit, Creative Studios, Academic Staff, Learning Design and our Marketing department.
A typical day will include attending a number of project meetings, communicating with internal and external stakeholders through a variety of mediums, updating status reports and project plans and taking part in the general gees!
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Manage the development of local online education projects under the guidance of the Project Manager
Support the Project Manager in the daily management of his/her portfolio including the development of international online education courses.
General team administration tasks with a strong focus on travel planning
Update project documents including project plans, work breakdown structures and project status updates.
Support the Project Manager in scheduling and attending DSUs (Daily Stand Ups) and weekly meetings with project teams in order to measure project progress.
Work with the Project Manager in proactively solving problems, doing scenario planning and managing change around project delays.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Contribute to the overall success and growth of the project management team through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Education and Experience:
An undergraduate degree or diploma
Entry-level, some work experience is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to be flexible and embrace change.
Enthusiasm, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Proficiency in Smartsheets and/or Asana, Google suite is a bonus.
