Process driven: Ensuring all tasks follow stipulated workflow process. The senior content writer should also identify potential challenges in systems and present and implement solutions.
Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to junior and mid content writers and promote knowledge share within the team.
Education and Experience:
A formal tertiary qualification in English/Journalism or related fields, backed by 5-7 years of working experience.
A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to write content that is free of grammatical and spelling mistakes, well-researched, persuasive and SEO-optimised.
Sound communication skills and able to provide constructive feedback to peers and present in a team environment. The senior content writer should also be receptive to feedback from peers and key stakeholders.
A team player who is able to collaborate well with internal and external colleagues.
