Summary of Job:
The Affiliate Marketing Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, managing GetSmarter’s affiliate marketing vendors, and other partners as and when required. They support the Head of Strategic Partnerships by executing GetSmarter’s affiliate marketing strategy aiming to increase the return of individual partnerships and the channel as a whole. They will act as partner owner both internally and externally, with the goal of leveraging existing and new relationships to drive growth across the portfolio.
The Affiliate Marketing Coordinator should be an adaptable self-starter with the ability to make decisions in a changing environment. They should feel comfortable managing a high volume of projects at any given time, have sound judgement under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Partner Onboarding & Activation:
Work with the help of a task team to evaluate potential partnerships. Work with various stakeholders, including Ad-Ops, compliance, legal and marketing to ensure successful onboarding of partners, which may include, but is not limited to, supplier registration, training, contract administration and sales enablement.
Performance Optimisation and Reporting:
Work to ensure that partners meet or exceed their contractual obligations and desired performance measures. Monitor and analyse campaign activity to ensure partners deliver the best ROI and plan marketing activity accordingly across the portfolio. Assist in growing existing partner programs for maximum exposure. Work with stakeholders to identify, manage and report on risk. Provide detailed monthly reports to various stakeholders indicating partner initiatives, potential growth strategies, forecast and key performance metrics. Oversee problem solving and project management necessary to maximise ROI.
Work with partners on placement, creative, and growth strategies. Liaise with them to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy. Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners by communicating with them frequently to provide updates both internally and externally, acting as the interface between partners and GetSmarter. Keep partners informed on product developments, creative delivery status and performance. Work closely with their 2U HQ counterparts to manage, administer and grow their accounts.
Administration and Project Management:
First line response to incoming queries maintaining agreed SLA’s. Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing between partners. Manage partner tools, including partner websites, dashboards and sales toolkits. Communicate creative requirements and work closely with Ad-Ops on quarterly planning. Provide ad-hoc project management support to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, ensure timelines are met and potential risks highlighted.
Education and Experience:
4+ years of relevant experience – preferably in performance based marketing and/or account management
Experience in indirect stakeholder management
Experience managing and building affiliate or placement opportunities with external vendors
Ability to drive large number of internal initiatives and processes in an effective and timely manner
Strong analytical skills with a knack for using data to problem solve
Proven ability to effectively summarize and present information to leadership
Strong competency using MS Office tools, Google Suite and Google Analytics
- Tableau experience advantageous
Bachelor's degree or higher
