The Head Admissions leads and manages the admissions process for dedicated partner programs delivered by 2U. The primary responsibility of this position is to attain the admissions goals established by company management specifically using motivational and coaching techniques.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Subject matter expert on all operational aspects of program, content curriculum, and processes; the selected candidate must work as an admissions counselor as a part of his/her training process.
  • Corresponds with internal cross-functional teams on all aspects concerning the selection of new students and ensures the admissions process is in accordance with that of the partner university.
  • Works in conjunction with a Training Manager to effectively train and onboard new admissions counselors and identify skill gaps of current counselors.
  • Acts as coach and manager to personnel by developing creative and effective methods to motivate and encourage the team to ensure admission goals set by management are consistently met.
  • Assists with day-to-day operations in admissions including managing, scheduling, attendance, etc.
  • Ensures consistent operation of department in accordance with all university and company policies.
  • Engages with stakeholders and leadership for the university partner
  • Provides management with accurate ¬†and frequent performance reports related to enrollment activities.
