The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and nurturing 30 United Kingdom accounts by establishing great relationships, implementing account specific strategies, delivering world-class service and bespoke corporate packages.

We are looking for team players that are great problem solvers & ‘out-the-box thinkers’, pro-active, ambitious and who functions well under pressure to help establish GetSmarter as a leading education provider to organizations all over the world.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Research and prospect new business opportunities  

  2. Engage with prospective clients through calls and meetings

  3. Relationship management through a customer contact strategy that includes regular face to face interaction, creating multiple contact points in each corporate account, and personal relationship building with these contacts.

  4. Nurture and develop 30 existing relationships with corporate customers in the United Kingdom  through regular face to face contact

  5. Maximise the contribution to overall company performance, by generating recurring revenue from these corporate customers

Education and Experience:

  • 3 - 4  Years Marketing or Sales related qualification

  • 3 - 6  Years business development or account management experience in a B2B environment - preferably IT or online education

  • Experience dealing with, and successfully, influencing high-level executives

  • New business development

  • Ability to multitask, manage projects and work under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation skills and creativity

  • Consultative sales technique will be required

  • Basic data analysis skills

  • Willingness to travel locally
