The Paid Social Operational Team Lead role will focus on three key areas; technical implementation of global Paid Social campaigns, team management and management of processes. The primary function is to deliver against business and marketing goals within the 2U Paid Media team across multiple Paid Social platforms. They will be accountable for supporting the HOD in achieving the revenue goals of a portfolio of courses - this includes the performance of Paid Social campaigns for Harvard, MIT, Cambridge and Oxford to name a few.
The role requires a proven record and excellent understanding of Paid Social, leading a team and being highly organised. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years in the Digital Advertising Industry.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Manage the operational performance of the team including optimising internal processes, training direct reports, reviewing & analysing campaigns and supporting the development and growth of direct reports.
Support the development and execution of the Paid Social strategy in order to generate quality leads. This includes campaign building, optimisation, testing, monitoring, planning, calendar management, budget management, platform selection, implementing remarketing strategies and reporting.
Seek ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency within a specific portfolio in order to aid revenue growth.
Work with other team members to ensure that the cross channel spend mix between Paid Social, Display and Search teams is analysed and defined to achieve maximum ROI across the portfolio’s on a regular basis.
Ad hoc analysis of teams campaigns using Tableau.
Education and Experience:
5+ years Paid Media experience
Doubleclick experience is advantageous
Business / Marketing degree preferable
Experience in managing direct reports
