This person is responsible for the Development and/or Evaluation of courses across learning environments, as well as the implementation and management of course queries from internal stakeholders.
Reports into a Lead Learning Technology Specialist
Development of new and existing online courses across learning environments, and University partners
Liaise with Learning Designers to ensure the technical solutions implemented across courses meets the learning objectives as outlined in the Learning Design Plan
Basic knowledge and understanding of business systems and process thinking
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Adhere to course development quality standards (benchmarking)
Management and implementation of all Learning Technology Course Query tasks
Receiving, assigning, and executing course queries that require content changes/updates
Analysing and identifying ways to improve the process
Advanced understanding and use of Moodle learning management system
In-depth knowledge of activity and resource settings
Detailed knowledge of the gradebook and calendar settings
Basic knowledge of site-wide settings
Set and adhere to course development quality standards (benchmarking and QA)
