The focus of this role will be on various SaaS and server applications as part of a team that is responsible for the overall support and maintenance of 2U's internal environments. Including but not limited to design and development, integration, testing, regular system maintenance, etc. As part of that support, this role will also provide support to a diverse set of collateral systems, collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders across our tech development teams as well as our business stakeholders.  Must have solid interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and enhancing data integrity through design, maintenance and security in a variety of SaaS applications.
  • Assisting with enhancements and maintenance of automated processes and applications.
  • Transitioning legacy processes and functionality using newer tools for purposes of streamlining overhead and embedding efficiency’s.
  • Maintaining user accounts such that we meet the proper blend of user business functionality and adherence to compliance and security.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and devising immediate and long-term solutions.
  • Developing and implementing functional tests for security configurations and automated processes.
  • Develop and maintain database standards, naming conventions and deployment methodologies.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Operations or Programming disciplines preferred
  • 1- 2 years’ experience maintaining mission critical databases in a complex technology environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of systems such as JIRA, Smartsheets, and Slack
