The scope of AI is vast, but it is not without risks. The repercussions of data-driven decisions can be far-reaching and affect individuals, organizations, and society in unforeseen ways. Such unintended consequences can be challenging to identify and mitigate, but addressing them can create new opportunities. Given AI's investment costs and risks, leaders must anticipate and tackle these issues proactively.
The MIT Sloan School of Management and the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing offer an online short course, Making AI Work: Machine Intelligence for Business and Society, that provides a structured approach to examining the potential and limitations of machine learning (ML) tools. The program spans six weeks and aims to highlight the vulnerabilities of AI and educate learners on the steps required to develop robust systems with privacy as their core. Additionally, the course emphasizes the significance of human-technology collaboration in gaining a competitive edge for organizations. About the certificate
Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully implement effective, responsible, and beneficial AI systems within your organization and earn a joint digital certificate of completion from the MIT Sloan and MIT Schwarzman College.
