In today's business world, change is the only constant. Organisations either drive change or are driven by it. Professionals and organisations that can manage and adapt to change in a conscious, ethical, and sustainable manner will have a competitive edge in the future.
The University of Cape Town (UCT) offers a Change Management online short course that provides a comprehensive toolkit for designing sustainable solutions. This eight-week course focuses on theory and practice to embed change at every level of your organisation. You will be exposed to various industry change management models, diagnostic tools, and real-world case studies. Upon completing the course, you will have the skills to anticipate, articulate, and act to build your organisation's competency for change.

This programme is designed for individuals spearheading and executing change within their organisation or team. Managers and other professionals in leadership positions will acquire practical tactics for steering change and aligning their organisation's culture and personnel with flexibility. The strategies, models, and tools taught in the change management course are relevant to a broad range of contexts, industries, and businesses, ensuring a systematic and well-planned approach to revitalising an organisation's infrastructure, systems, and operations. About the certificate
Learn about change management and earn an official certificate of completion from the University of Cape Town.
Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with a digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the course handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the course.

Payment options
You can pay your course fees before the course starts, or you may opt for a split payment plan on courses that are nine weeks and shorter. For courses 10 weeks and longer, there is a three-part payment plan available. Manage your time

The course work is broken up into weekly, manageable bite-sized modules, with incremental deadlines, designed to help you pace yourself over the duration of the course and allow you the legroom to work when it suits you best.
At the beginning of each module you'll be presented with the course content and assignments necessary for completion. You also have access to your Success Adviser who will help you manage your time, and support you with any administrative or technical queries you might have.

How to change your start date
As part of our commitment to your professional development, GetSmarter offers you a two-week period to change your course start date or request your money back if you’re not fully satisfied.
