This highly-interactive LSE Programme on Negotiation enables you to reach your potential as a negotiator and enhance your business impact. Guided by LSE academics and industry experts, you’ll spend six weeks developing the practical negotiation skills and theoretical insight to respond successfully to a variety of negotiation scenarios.
You’ll build your professional network while interacting with fellow business professionals around the world in live online individual and multi-party negotiation sessions, designed to help you practice your new negotiation skills in real-world scenarios. You will also be given negotiation exercises to apply in your daily life - further developing your practical negotiation skills and confidence.
You’ll also create your own personal development plan, built over the six weeks of the course using expert and peer feedback, to identify your personal style of negotiation and capture your learning and skills gains.

Dr Connson Locke
Senior Lecturer in Practice
Connson Locke is a Senior Lecturer in the LSE Department of Management. Connson joined LSE in 2008 from the Boston Consulting Group and her areas of expertise are leadership, negotiation, decision making and organisational behaviour. She is part of the Programme Director for the Executive Global Master’s in Management, the LSE’s cutting edge alternative to an MBA, and also teaches the School’s flagship executive course on campus: Achieving Leadership Excellence. Connson holds a PhD and MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Sociology from Harvard University. Her research interests include gender and leadership, diversity, and organisational culture.
Dr Tara Reich
Assistant Professor of Employment Relations and Organisational Behaviour
Dr Tara Reich received her BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and her MA in Social Psychology and her PhD in Organizational Behaviour from the University of Manitoba. Tara teaches courses focused on organisational behaviour at LSE, and leads the globally renowned LSE Summer School negotiation course, Bargaining and Negotiation: Interests, Information, Strategy and Power. She is an expert in employee well-being, with a specific focus on the psychology of workplace mistreatment and influence. Tara has had her work published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behaviour, and Work & Stress.
