The growth of available data is exponential, and competitive advantage today is won by organisations that can use big data sets to make meaningful business decisions and engage with their clients most effectively. A study by IBM suggested that we will need a further 28 per cent more data scientists worldwide by 2020 to cope with this increased need.1
The Business Analytics online short course from the University of Cape Town (UCT) will enable aspiring and functional analysts, and business decision makers, to improve their business intelligence capabilities by teaching them to extract insights from data to inform decision-making.
