As the business environment evolves, so too does leadership. Increasingly, there is a demand for leaders to connect with others and themselves, and to engage employees and teams with empathy, curiosity, and intentionality.
The Leader as Coach online program from HEC Paris equips you to excel in the changing leadership landscape. Guided by a renowned coaching expert, you’ll gain the tools to positively transform individuals, teams, and organizations with a more intuitive, intentional approach to leadership. Through a number of practical case studies, you’ll learn how to engender a culture of trust and psychological safety in your context. You’ll also discover methods for improving the quality of your work connections by fostering a more harmonious, engaged organization. At the end of six weeks, you’ll know how to design and implement your own leader coach strategy, helping you immediately assume a coaching posture in your workplace. Walk away with an enhanced capacity to thrive as the self-aware, empathetic leader coach of tomorrow and a digital certificate of completion from HEC Paris.

This program is designed for any leader seeking to embody a leader coach posture to support positive transformation in their organization. Those currently in, or aspiring to, positions of leadership or people management will develop their ability to promote trust, communication, and engagement in individuals and teams. C-suite executives, directors, senior managers, and business owners will learn how to unleash fresh energy, innovation, and commitment from their employees in the face of business disruption. Experienced coaches who already work with leaders within a company will gain practical tools for supporting high levels of organizational change. And external coaches or consultants looking to advance in their careers will acquire current, applicable insights to stay relevant and competitive. As this is not a formal coaching qualification, no prior experience or extensive time commitment is required.

About the certificate
Develop your skills as a future-ready leader coach and earn an official certificate of completion from HEC Paris.
Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with your digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the program handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the program.

Manage your time
GetSmarter's learning model is designed to help you, as a working professional, improve your skills without compromising on work and family responsibilities. The course work is broken up into weekly, manageable bite-sized modules, with incremental deadlines, designed to help you pace yourself over the duration of the course and allow you the legroom to work when it suits you best.
At the beginning of each module you'll be presented with the course content and assignments necessary for completion. You also have access to your Success Adviser who will help you manage your time, and support you with any administrative or technical queries you might have.

How to change your start date
As part of our commitment to your professional development, GetSmarter offers you a two-week period to change your course start date or request your money back if you’re not fully satisfied.
