Orientation module
Welcome to your Online Campus
SECTION I: Public Policy Analysis
This section provides a thorough understanding of the importance and goals of public policy, covering policy evaluation, communication, and quantitative skills. Participants will develop an informed perspective on public policy processes and the politics of public policy. The unit will conclude with an exploration of the current challenges for public policy.
SECTION II: Public Policy Transformation: AI, Innovation, and Technology
Participants will study problems and solutions in public policy and learn behavioural public policy, exploring ethical and ideological debates around behavioural approaches. Students will also explore participation in public policy delivery and decision-making and the challenges that may arise. Finally, participants will examine data and artificial intelligence in public policy alongside the drivers of innovation and barriers to change.

About the certificate
Learn how to lead strategically and evaluate policy and earn an official certificate of professional advancement from LSE.
Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with your digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the programme handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the programme.
