Course overview
The amount of organizations that believe they’re effectively building leaders who can meet the needs of ever-evolving challenges caused by innovation.
Deloitte (Apr, 2019).
The number of professionals who feel the 21st century has introduced new leadership requirements that are important to their organization’s success.
Deloitte (Apr, 2019).
Duration: 6 weeks (excluding orientation)
A traditional approach to leadership is no longer sufficient in a world that is changing at an exponential rate. Leadership in the 21st century requires an orientation towards continuous learning and adaptation to the evolving landscape, new technologies, and shifting customer preferences. This program provides new approaches for leading teams towards effectively reaching organizational goals by drawing on the 4-CAPS+ Leadership Framework, developed by Faculty Director Deborah Ancona and her colleagues at MIT. In it, you’ll examine your personal leadership style and how to effectively leverage others — both inside and outside teams and organizations — to aid in successfully addressing and overcoming organizational challenges.
Is this course for you?
This program is designed for professionals looking to improve their leadership capabilities within their organization and discover their personal leadership style. Business leaders will expand and refine their current leadership knowledge, which will help them to facilitate innovation and adaptation, and drive high-performance teams. Mid-level and senior managers will be given the chance to engage with other professionals and develop their ability to lead teams more effectively and meet business objectives. Aspiring leaders will develop the confidence needed to demonstrate that they have the skills to lead.
