*McKinsey & Company (Jun, 2023).The Oxford Artificial Intelligence in Trading Series is an interdisciplinary learning path that leverages the tools and insights of two existing programmes to equip you with an in-depth understanding of the potential of AI in financial trading. In the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme, you’ll explore the real-world implementation of AI in business and society. You’ll learn about the history of AI, its functionality, capabilities, and ethical considerations to make informed decisions regarding its implementation within your organisation. From here, the Oxford Algorithmic Trading Programme will enable you to gain proficiency in executing personalised trading tactics and unravelling the complexities of algorithmic trading. You’ll unpack the principles that drive successful algorithmic trading strategies and hedge funds, and grow your knowledge of financial theory and behavioural finance.
Both programmes in this series are certified by the United Kingdom CPD Certification Service, and may be applicable to individuals who are members of, or associated with, UK-based professional bodies. Combined, the two programmes have an estimated 120 hours of learning.

About the certificates
Develop a functional understanding of the uses and limitations of AI in financial trading and earn a certificate of attendance from Oxford Saïd for each programme in the series. Once the learning path is concluded, you'll receive an additional certificate as validation of your accomplishment.
Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with your digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the course handbooks. The handbooks will be made available to you as soon as you begin each course.
