Programme overview
Duration: 6 weeks (excluding orientation)
The turbulent nature of the modern business environment requires a strategic perspective on sustainable solutions to ensure an organisation’s survival and success. By developing resilience, leaders can enable their enterprises to effectively anticipate, prepare, and respond to uncertainty – allowing them to not only bounce back but bounce forward and thrive.
Learn how to navigate disruption at an individual, business, and systemic level with the Oxford Leading Through Uncertainty and Disruption: Building Resilient Organisations Programme. Over the course of six weeks, you'll focus on Programme Director Eleanor Murray's exclusive 6S framework, and explore how to build resilience within the concepts of self, strategy, structures, social elements, supply chains, and systems. Using this framework, you’ll develop the skills to integrate a holistic approach to resilience throughout your organisation's business strategy and operations, identify ways to build resilient relationships with stakeholders, and lead effectively through disruptions.
Gain the support structures and networks to strengthen your ability to thrive as a leader through long-term volatility, and walk away with a strategic plan for building resilience to ensure the sustainability and longevity of your organisation.
Is this programme for you?
This programme is designed for leaders across industries, in private business, public organisations, non-profits, and governments, with the need to enhance their organisation’s ability to effectively adapt and respond to uncertainty. Those in senior leadership or C-suite roles who need to remain competitive and want to ensure their organisation’s longevity will benefit from this programme. Additionally, these professionals will discover how to leverage disruption for new opportunities and ultimately strengthen their organisation’s ability to thrive in the face of new challenges. Human resource managers, resilience professionals, and organisational design leaders who are responsible for improving the operational resilience of their companies will also gain valuable tools and techniques to aid them in these objectives.
This Oxford Leading Through Uncertainty and Disruption: Building Resilient Organisations Programme is certified by the United Kingdom CPD Certification Service, and may be applicable to individuals who are members of, or are associated with, UK-based professional bodies. The programme has an estimated 60 hours of learning.
Note: should you wish to claim CPD activity, the onus is on you. Oxford Saïd and GetSmarter accept no responsibility, and cannot be held responsible, for the claiming or validation of hours or points.
